Mavelikkara MLA R Rajesh tied nuptial knot with Kerala University former union general secretary Remya Remanan at a small function organised at SNDP Auditorium, Harippad, on Friday.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, CPM politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala, several MLAs, MPs and other political leaders attended the wedding function of Rajesh MLA and his sweetheart Remya.
Rajesh met Remya when he was the union chairman of TKM Engineering College, Nangiarkulangara, five years ago. Remya was a degree student at that time.
Rajesh is the son of M T Raghavan of Nalloorkulathil house, Kollakadav, Cheriyanad.
Remya is the daughter of Remanan, Rahul Bhavanam, Karuvatta, Alappuzha.
