Setting aside the option to seek CBI probe,the State Government will begin the prosecution procedures into the murder of T P Chandraseharan soon.
It is learnt that Advocate General K P Dandapani advised the government that if the case was taken over by the CBI before prosecution steps, it would help the accused to get bail easily.
The Law Department has also recommended to the government that the transfer of the case will weaken the existing case.
