An 80 year old man was killed on being hit by a car while cutting across the road in front of his house. The accident happened at 7.30 am on Monday near St Thomas High School on M C Road.
The deceased has been identified as Isaac of Chittethukudi house. Though he was taken to the hospital he did not survive.
