The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court II here on Thursday dismissed a bunch of pleas, that sought the release of the copy of the secret submission made by Sreedharan Nair of Konni-based Mallelil Industries, in the solar scam case, before it.
Sreedharan Nair in his complaint had alleged that he had paid Rs 40 lakh to solar scam accused Saritha S Nair.
Judicial First Class Magistrate II Muhammed Raees dismissed pleas of 11 persons, who filed petitions seeking the copy of the secret court submission before the Ranni magistrate on the order of the Pathanmathitta Judicial First Class Magistrate.
The prosecution argued against the plea for seeking the copy of secret court submission on the ground the ongoing investigation in the case will be affected. However, counsel for the accused argued that there is hardly any law that bars the releasing of the copy of the secret submission.
