CM sends legal notice to VS, ‘Deshabhimani’

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has sent legal notices to Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan, ‘Deshabhimani’ printer and publisher E P Jayarajan, chief editor V V Dakshinamoorthy and reporter V M Pradeep for raising ‘baseless allegations’ against him in connection with the Solar scam.

 A press release issued from the Chief Minister’s office here on Thursday said that legal notice was sent to the Opposition leader for his allegation levelled during an interview to a news channel that Chandy accepted commission in the Solar deal.

The legal notice was sent to ‘Deshabhimani’ daily for publishing allegedly defaming news items against Chandy by linking him to the Solar scam.
