A woman has registered a police complaint against actor Bala for allegedly damaging her car and harassing her.

The complainant, Elizabeth Varghese, a resident of Champakkara, registered the complaint at Tripunithura Janamaithri Police Station. She said that though she had registered similar police complaints against the actor on two occasions earlier, the police are yet to take some concrete action and have not even filed an FIR.

According to her, the actor damaged her car last Friday when he visited one of his relatives in the apartment. She claimed to have been suffering from mental torture due to the actor for the past three years.

“The actor and his friends use the common area in the apartment for partying purpose. They also throw stones at my flat. Bala has made scratches on my car and punctured my car tyres last week. Now, I have registered a complaint at Tripunithura police station and will register a complaint in the Chief Minister’s mass contact programme to be held on Friday,” she alleged.

She said though she had registered a complaint with the city police commissioner against the actor three years ago, nothing was done.

“The actor damaged my car thrice when I objected to film shooting at the apartment three years ago,” she alleged. Tripunithura CI Baiju Paulose confirmed that such a complaint had been registered against the actor.

He said the police have not yet found any evidence against the actor to prove the allegations. He said the police had contacted the actor over the phone but he is busy with his shooting schedules.
