At a time when the internal issues in the Kerala Congress (M) are reaching a boiling point, the top level leaders of the party, who were here on Friday, shared disparate opinions on the prevailing issues with in the party. While senior leader and party chairman K M Mani said that no issues were prevailing in the party, working chairman P J Joseph said that the issues would be resolved through talks.

While party vice-chairman P C George, who was acerbic of leaders of the Joseph faction, was appeared to be tamed in his comments, his dissenter Francis George was seen bitter in his comments against P C George.

Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the Golden jubilee celebrations of the Kerala Students Congress (M), K M Mani said that the date for conducting a high power meeting of the party has not been decided.

According to him, there were no issues prevailing in the party and an appropriate decision on the Lok Sabha seats would be taken ahead of the elections. “The party will discuss all the subjects. However, the time has not arrived for it,” he said.
