Senior Congress leader V M Sudheeran joined the band of those demanding a CBI probe to unravel the conspiracy behind T P Chandrasekharan’s murder case and bring the conspirators in front of law. Sudheeran wrote to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala on Friday asserting that a decision on this score should not be prolonged anymore.
He also urged that K K Rema, wife of the slain RMP leader, should not be pushed to an indefinite fast.
“The demand for a CBI probe is getting intensified. It is not fair to delay a decision on the demand. Appropriate measures should be taken for a CBI probe,” Sudheeran said in his letter.
Notably, Sudheeran’s demand came up after Rema announced the other day that she would go on an indefinite fast from February 3 in front of the Secretariat here, to put pressure on the government for a CBI probe in the case.
