KOLLAM: Traders under the Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi across the state have decided to shut down shops on December 3 against ‘unnecessary’ inspection on shops by various government departments.

“The decision was taken at the state meet of the samithi which was held in Sultan Bathery,” samithi district president S Devarajan told a press meet here on Tuesday.  The samithi would take out a rally from Kasaragod in November second week and it would culminate in T’Puram on Dec 3.
