THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : As many as 3000 business establishments across the state have registered for the eighth edition of the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF), which kickstarts from December 1. The registration process for the traders ends on November 15.
Pointing out that the GKSF eighth edition comes with novel initiatives and exciting prizes to the shops and shoppers, Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar said that Rs 15 crore of the total Rs 50 crore expenses calculated for the festival will go as prize money to the consumers.
GKSF director K M Muhammed Anil said that a shopping magazine will be brought out soon and made available at all tourist destinations, which will help foreign tourists gain information about the products available through GKSF.
