PATHANAMTHITTA: The Sabarimala ward, set up exclusively for providing medical facilities to the Sabarimala pilgrims, at General Hospital here will start functioning on November 16.
The 20-bedded ward, having a minor operation theatre, will have five specialist doctors. In addition to free medical facilities to the pilgrims, light refreshments will also be offered to the pilgrims. The laboratory attached to the ward will function round-the-clock. Two ambulances will also be available exclusively.
