VADAKARA: Even after four days after the sexual harassment of a four-and-a-half year old girl at her school at Parakkadavu near Nadapuram was reported, the police are yet to identify the culprits. However, tension prevailed within the Nadapuram police station limits on Friday as the cops took the cleaner of the school bus into custody and allegedly attempted to arraign him in the case.

The police team, led by Nadapuram Circle Inspector A Suresh Kumar, had conducted identification parades  the other day, and the kid, reportedly, had identified the culprits. But no arrest has been recorded so far, giving room for allegation that the investigation team is attempting to save the real culprits.  The cleaner of the school bus, identified as Muneer, was taken into custody in connection with the case.  However, they later released him without charging any case after various political parties took up the issue.
