‘We Did Nothing Wrong’

PALAKKAD:  The sacked Congress workers of Attappadi Block Committee said that they had not worked against the KPCC or the Janapakshayatra led by  V M Sudheeran.

“We haven’t deliberately thwarted anyone from providing financial or other supports to the Janapakshayatra. Instead, we took a decision to channelise money and man power to make the yatra a big success,”  said Attappadi Block Committee President N K Raghuthaman adding that the KPCC has misunderstood them.

“But, the people were not willing to participate in the yatra or provide money for it,” Raghuthaman said adding that the KPCC refused the receive the paltry sum collected by them.
