‘Extend a Friendly Behaviour’

SABARIMALA: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, who on Wednesday reviewed the arrangements made for the pilgrim season, said strict instructions were given to the police, who were deployed in and around Sabarimala, to ensure a pilgrim-friendly behaviour.

Speaking to reporters after holding the final round of review meeting with the government officials at Pampa, he said directives were already issued to the police team headed by ADGP K Padmakumar in this regard. The Minister said a total of 1,200 police personnel have been deployed at Sannidhanam and Pampa.
