SABARIMALA: As part of service improvement at Sabarimala, the KSRTC here on Thursday has launched one more chain service connecting Triveni with Pampa KSRTC station. The service is aimed at giving better convenience for the pilgrims returning from Sabarimala temple. Triveni-Pampa bus station service was commenced with two buses, but sources in KSRTC said it would be increased if the traffic in the sector goes up.
The service has been reported to have attracted wide appreciation from the pilgrims, said the sources.
The chain service between Pampa and Nilackal has 100 buses in service, and during the days of Mandala pooja and Makaravilakku, additional buses would be deployed, sources said.
