KOCHI: A seminar on ‘Competition Law: Your Rights and Obligations’ has been held at the Kerala Chamber Commerce and Industries (KCCI) here.
The meet was inaugurated by KCCI vice-chairman U C Riyaz. Mukesh Kalra, joint secretary, Federation of India Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (FISME) was the chief guest at the function. The technical session on the Competition Act 2002 was presented by Ahmed Saif Jamali, regional legal manager, Hindustan Levers.
Competition Act which is aimed to promote and sustain competition in the market, protect the interest of consumers and prevent practices that have adverse effect on competition is applicable to all organisations.
