THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Government Chief Whip P C George is learnt to have told the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) team that he didn’t know whether Finance Minister K M Mani accepted bribe from bar owners.
The VACB team which is conducting a probe into the bar scam allegations recorded George’s statement as Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan mentioned George’s comments in his complaint.
