UN Team Visits Supplyco

KOCHI: Officials of the World Food Programme (WFP)- Logistics Mission, under the United Nations (UN), visited the headquarters of the Supplyco in Kochi on Thursday, to learn the procedures of paddy procurement.

The three-member team, led by World Food Programme Logistics chief Bernard Chomilier, held a discussion with the Supplyco managing director to learn about the methods adopted by the Supplyco to intervene in the open market.

The team also included WFP Delhi programme officer Angit Sooth and project advisor of Kerala M A Sulfikar.
