Pensioners’ Assn Holds Protest

KOTTAYAM: The city traffic came to a standstill on Saturday as the KSRTC Pensioners’ Association organised a road blocking demonstration at the Kottayam Central Junction.

The agitation by the district committee of the association was held demanding immediate distribution of pension and other dues.

The supporters gathered at the spot and stood across the road. Some even lied on the road and raised slogans against the delay in the clearing of pension arrears upto September.
