KOCHI:Aiming to bring mothers and children close to mother nature, the Nilambur Nature Society and Ore Bhoomi Ore Jeevan are jointly organising a camp at Chandrakantham in Nilambur on April 29 and 30.

There will be various classes on nature and environmental conservation. Traditional songs along with other activities including trekking will also be held.

The classes will be conducted by Jayaprakash, a member of Nilambur Nature Society. Meanwhile, Subhith Ahimsa, an IIT graduate, will conduct classes on toy making from plastics. Subhit, a nature lover, believes in converting plastic into useful items. It should not be simply discarded as it would prove detrimental for nature. Workshops will be held to teach children how to make toys from plastic waste.

Those who are interested to participate in the camp, can contact 8050725190, 8281506949
