Malayalam actor assault row: Anticipatory bail plea of Pulsar Suni’s lawyer closed

The Kerala High Court has closed the anticipatory bail petition of Pradeesh Chacko, lawyer of Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the actor assault case.

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has closed the anticipatory bail petition of Pradeesh Chacko, lawyer of Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the actor assault case.

The petition stated during the course of questioning, the police threatened him saying he will be made an accused in the case, news will be planted in media and searches will be conducted in his office, residence and in the school where his child is studying.

The prosecution said the lawyer was questioned by the investigating officer in connection with the incident. His residence and office were searched and certain incriminating articles were seized. The prosecution said Pulsar Suni had disclosed details regarding the lawyer’s involvement in the case. But, so far, he has not been made an accused in the case.

Recording the prosecution’s submission, the court closed the bail application.
