MALAPPURAM: It was a close shave for 60 passengers and crew onboard a Bangalore-Kozhikode bound SpiceJet flight which skidded off the runway at Calicut International Airport early on Friday. Authorities have said that there were no casualties.
Passengers had a close shave after the flight went off the runway and proceeded to move 300 metres, damaging sicx lights on the runway at 8:30 am. The airport’s fire and rescue wing was deployed after the incident. Airport authorities have, reportedly, sought a preliminary explanation from the pilot.
