Five students hurt in bomb attack 

Five students of MET Arts and Science College, Nadapuram, were injured in a country bomb attack at Kummamkode  on Monday evening.

KOZHIKODE: Five students of MET Arts and Science College, Nadapuram, were injured in a country bomb attack at Kummamkode  on Monday evening. The injured youths, all activists of Muslim Students Federation, were admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital here.      According to the police, the incident was a continuation of the tussle between SFI and MSF workers on the college campus in the morning. Unidentified persons hurled a bomb on the students in the evening.


Case resgistered
The injured are Muhammad, 23, Rashid, 19, Muhammad Ameer, 19, Sali, 18, and Anshad, 20. The police have registered a case against 60 persons  and launched a probe. However, no one has been arrested so far. Following the incident, the police have strengthened patrolling across the region to avoid further untoward incidents.
