International Film Festival of Kerala: Distribution of passes begins

 The delegate cell inauguration and the distribution of the passes for the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) will begin at 11 am on Wednesday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The delegate cell inauguration and the distribution of the passes for the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) will begin at 11 am on Wednesday.
As many as 14 counters have been set up at Tagore Theatre for distributing the passes for the fete which would showcase 190 flicks from 65 countries. All arrangements have been made for the distribution of passes without causing any inconvenience to the delegates. The counters will be open till 7 pm. 

The delegates can collect their passes by providing their identity cards with photo proof.
The media passes will be distributed from December 7, for which special counters have been set up. The pass distribution process was delayed owing to the circumstances that arose due to Ockhi cyclone, the festival office said.The registration for additionally-sanctioned 1,000 delegate passes of IFFK was held on Tuesday. Within 20 minutes, the entire registration process was completed. The distribution of these passes will begin from Thursday.

Remembering the legends
The IFFK will pay homage to the eminent directors I V Sasi and K R Mohanan. The makers of films that presented whole new dimensions of society and social commitment will be honoured on December 9 at Sree Theatre Complex. P V Gangadharan, T V Chandran, K P Kumaran, V K Sreeraman, Sathyan Anthikkad and Seema will attend the function to be held at 6 pm.I V Sasi’s ‘Aaroodam’, ‘1921’, ‘Aalkkoottathil Thaniye’, ‘Mrugaya’, ‘Itha Ivide Vare’, and K R Mohanan’s ‘Ashwathama’, ‘Purushartham’, and ‘Swaroopam’ will be screened.
