KOZHIKODE: The Indian Navy in a search operation recovered two more dead bodies of the Ockhi victims here off the Kozhikode coast on Saturday. With this, the number of bodies recovered off the Kozhikode coast has become 21.

The dead bodies recovered on Saturday will be brought to Beypore by around 5 pm, according to the officials.

“The two dead bodies were recovered by the Indian Navy. They are being brought to Beypore, for which all arrangements have been made,” Deputy Director of Fisheries T M Mariam Hazeena told the New Indian Express.

The district administration had already confirmed that arrangements for post-mortem have been made.

About 17 DNA samples to Rajiv Gandhi Institute in Thiruvananthapuram have also been sent by the district administration.
