KOCHI: Congress MLA P T Thomas has lodged a complaint with Palarivattom Police alleging a move to put his life in danger.

According to the complaint, the bolts of the four wheels of his car were loosened by miscreants. The MLA said he was alerted by a pedestrian who stopped his car when he was en-route to Kizhakambalam, a suburb near Kochi, to attend a programme on Sunday.

The MLA filed the petition on Monday which said a major mishap was averted as they noticed the matter before the vehicle entered the main road.

P T Thomas MLA also vehemently criticized the government for the slow pace of investigation in the actor assault case.

The MLA was one of the first to arrive at director Lal's house where the female actor was dropped after the assault on February 17 night.

The special investigation team probing the conspiracy behind the actress assault case recorded the statement of PT Thomas last week at the Ernakulam guest house.
