GST registration to resume on June 25

The GST registration for traders will resume on June 25. The Commercial Taxes Department aims at cent percent registration by the month-end. 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The GST registration for traders will resume on June 25. The Commercial Taxes Department aims at cent percent registration by the month-end. 
The department had stopped registration activities on June 15 to complete the processing formalities of new registrants. All existing registrants with the Commercial Taxes Department are required to shift to the new regime. 

How to register?
Traders can log in to the KVATIS system on the commercial taxes  website www.keralataxes.gov.in using the current user ID and password. 


Upon logging in, traders will get a  provisional ID and password which  can be used to log in to the GST  website www.gst.gov.in. 


Upon logging into the GST website, traders can make a permanent ID and  password. The details can be uploaded by selecting the tabs. Registration will be completed only after attesting the uploaded details using the trader’s digital signature.
The department has opened help desks in all district headquarters to clear the doubts of traders on migration to the new system.
