Hakeem murder accused to undergo narco-analysis, polygraph

The CBI team investigating the Hakeem murder case has approached the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court seeking permission to conduct scientific tests on four accused held in Hakeem murder case

KOCHI: The CBI team investigating the Hakeem murder case has approached the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court seeking permission to conduct scientific tests on four accused held in the case.

The investigation agency is planning to conduct narco-analysis, brain-mapping and polygraph on the four accused. Hakeem, an employee of Kotti Juma Masjid in Payyanur, was found dead near a madrasa on February 10, 2014.

The CBI had arrested K P Abdul Nazar, Abdul Salam, Ismail and A P Muhammad Rafique on April 5, this year. The court would send notices to the accused persons to know whether they are willing to undergo scientific tests. The case has been posted for hearing on May 24.
