KOCHI: The two-day state-level conference of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers of India (Credai) will be held at the Hotel Crowne Plaza here on November 24 and 25. More than 250 developers from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thrissur, Palakkad and Kozhikode chapters will attend the conference. The transformation of the construction industry in the past couple of decades, present trends and the way forward will be discussed. The theme of the conference is ‘Revive-Reinvent-Refocus.’
There will be technical sessions and panel discussions on topics including technology in construction, marketing, funding and branding. The session ‘Social Marketing- a boon or a bane’ will discuss the possibilities of social media as a cost-effective yet, powerful marketing tool.
‘Finance- New Investment Frontiers’ will be led by CBRE head of residential services A S Sivaramakrishnan. Innovations in construction like manufactured homes and affordable automation will be discussed, said Credai Kerala chairman Najeeb Zackeria. Kotak Realty CEO Srini Sreenivasan, KKR director Yash Nadkarni, SBI general manager J K Thakar and others will speak.
K V Thomas MP will be the chief guest at the inaugural function and Credai national president Jaxay Shah will be the guest of honour. Justice Devan Ramachandran will be the chief guest at the valedictory function.
