KOTTAYAM: In a case of the real life imitating reel life, the police on Thursday arrested a person from the Press Club here, shortly he told reporters on appearing in the court on Friday  demanding an investigation into a series of  crimes, including the one related to a 20-year-old murder in a neighbouring state, which he had witnessed. 

The arrest suspect is M K Siby hailing from Vaikom.  Earlier, Siby told reporters he was also part of a sex and drug mafia even as he  demanded an investigation into a number of crimes committed by a five member gang based at Vaikom TV Puram. He also claimed some police officers have been colluding with the gang. As Siby emerged from the Press Club Hall along with two others, a police team  led by West CI Nirmal Bose arrested him.
