KOCHI: The Ernakulam Principal District and Sessions Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing on the bail plea of the accused, including 'Pulsar' Suni aka Sunil Kumar, in the actor assault case.
Though lawyer for Suni requested the court to consider the plea on Wednesday itself, the prosecution informed the court the High Court order rejecting Suni's bail plea, the case dairy and the orders of Angamaly Judicial First Class Magistrate Court will be submitted before the court the following day.
Following this, the court adjourned the hearing until Friday. Suni's mother also appeared before the court and prayed her son be granted bail in the case.
The court will consider the case on May 21 for scheduling the trial proceedings. Actor Dileep and lawyers Pratheesh Chacko and Raju Joseph, who have been arraigned in the case, did not appear before the court on Wednesday.
