KOCHI: The Special Additional Magistrate Court, Ernakulam, has posted for Saturday the hearing in the criminal cases against six LDF MLAs for unruly behaviour during the presentation of the budget in the Assembly during the UDF regime in March, 2015.
The police had booked then Opposition MLAs E P Jayarajan, V Sivankutty, C K Sadasivan, Kunjahammed – all CPM members – K Ajith of CPI and K T Jaleel, an LDF Independent in the March 13 incident. As the LDF Government had decided to drop the charges against the six MLAs, the public prosecutor is likely to convey the government’s decision to withdraw the case
