Chandrabose murder case: Kerala HC dismisses Nisham’s plea

The court dismissed the petition to quash the FIR, stating there are sufficient materials which disclose criminal intimidation.

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Tuesday dismissed the petition filed by controversial businessman Muhammed Nisham, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of security guard Chandrabose, seeking to quash the FIR against him for threatening the manager of his firm from jail.

According to the complainant Chandrasekharan, he was threatened and intimidated from Kannur Central Jail by Nisham over the phone for not giving a power of attorney. The court dismissed the petition to quash the FIR, stating there are sufficient materials which disclose criminal intimidation.
