Now, hospital staff want to rename the hospital to Angel Lini Memorial government hospital as a tribute to the true hero. People of Perambra too have voiced their support to the move.“Our colleague Lini was a dedicated nurse and was always ready to help patients. Her demise is a loss for the entire nation,” said K Abubhakkar, staff council secretary at the hospital.

He said Lini has set a model in state’s healthcare sector with her sincere service. “Remembering her will inspire all in the healthcare sector,” said Abubakkar. According to him, renaming the hospital will be a recognition for Lini’s dedicated service. People of Perambra too have supported the demand. “The government would take a final call on the demand for renaming the hospital only after a detailed discussion. However, we will consider the demand,” she said.
