THRISSUR: The Aloor Police have registered a case against Swami Sreenarayana Dharmavrathan, head of the Sivagiri Madom in Kottenallur, under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on Tuesday. He was accused of sexually abusing three boys.
According to Vimal V V, SI of Aloor police station, “The complaint was forwarded by the Child Line after their primary inquiry. We registered the case after recording the statements by the children.” He added the accused person is absconding. Three boys of 12, 13 and 16 years, who were staying in the Madom, because of their poor financial condition, were shifted to the Government Children’s home as soon as the Child Line came to know about the issue.
