ABASS president Thennala Balakrishna Pillai inaugurated the free food distribution. The free food facility, aiming at 10,000 pilgrims a day,  will be available  between 7 am to 11 am, 12 to 3 pm noon and 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm. Medicated water resting place and toilets are the other facilities available for the pilgrims at the Pampa camp.

A 20-member volunteer force has been deployed for stretcher service between Sannidhanam and Pampa.

ABASS, in association with Apollo Hospital at Madurai, will offer modern health care facilities, including emergency cardiac care, at Pampa. Led by camp officer C Ramanunni,  the sangham also offers an ayurveda  ‘marma’ treatment facility under  veteran specialist Vasudeva Kurup.
