Nair Service Society (NSS) general secretary G Sukumaran Nair on Monday said that the organisation would not like to comment on KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala’s entry into the UDF Cabinet.

Speaking to Express at NSS headquarters at Perunna, he said that the organisation had stopped pursuing issues related to imbalances within the UDF alliance much earlier.

“The political developments in the UDF is their internal affair and the NSS does not intend to intervene or register any opinion on it. Once we had put forth some suggestions for the benefit of the UDF. However, when the entire Congress party came out against the NSS and tried to denigrate the organisation in the name of these suggestions we decided to keep away from intervening in their affairs,” he said.
