Story of a Sahari Bohu
‘Sahari Bohu’ is the story of a city girl who happens to marry a rural boy and her struggle in adjusting to the life in a village where she shifts after marriage.
Produced under the banner of Veer Bajarangbali Production, the film is being directed by Madhav Parida and produced by Bibhuti Bhusan Mohapatra who has also written the story.
A special attraction is Bijay Mohanty who has lent his voice for a song in the film. Music has been scored by Abhijit Majumdar while lyrics, screeplay and dialogues have been written by Nizam.
The star cast comprises Akash, Amrita Chatterjee, Kalyani Mandal, Bijay Mohanty, Ajit Das, Asit Pati, Anup Saha, Puspa Panda and Salil Mitra.
Sunil to try hands in film production
Sunil Kumar of ‘Swayamsiddha’ fame is currently busy with his production house - Tapori Films. Mumbai-based Sunil has already produced some ad films under the banner and is presently planning to venture into film production.
Prior to Sunil, Pupinder had started his own production house - Kalloosthenic Entertainment - under which he produced ‘Subha Vivaha’. His upcoming movie ‘Kichhi Khata Kichhi Mitha is also being made under the same banner. Leading actor Anubhav also has his own production house - Vishnupriya Arts and Graphics.
Sangam to release in March
Jatin Kumar Agarwal’s next venture Sangam is all set for a March release. Produced under the banner of Jayshree Enterprise that has already made some Hindi and Bhojpuri films, the director has roped in technicians from Bollywood.
Odia girl Jyoti Pani is debuting with the movie as the lead acrtress and the film has Bijay Mohanty, Mihir Das, Jayeeram Samal, Sidhant Mohapatra, Buddhaditya and Akash in the cast.
Asit Patra has composed the lyrics and music is scored by Harpreet Singh.
