BHUBANESWAR: A 37-year-old woman died under mysterious circumstances in a slum located behind the 120 Infantry Battalion. Her husband has been detained by Nayapalli Police.
On Saturday night, Sanjukta Swain, the woman, was brought to Capital Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police said she did not have any external injury. Her husband Basant Swain was detained for quizzing.
What happened between the two on Saturday night was not known but the couple had a fight a few days ago. Basant, said police, claimed that his wife fell and died. So far, family members of Sanjukta have not turned up leaving police in a tizzy.
