BHUBANESWAR: District Judge Debaraj Rout of Khurda District and Sessions Court has awarded seven years rigorous imprisonment (RI) to one Arjun Mohanty for raping a minor girl in the City. The court also fined him ` 5,000. The incident dates back to 2009.

ROBBERS HELD: Khandagiri Police on Monday arrested three robbers and recovered gold ornaments from their possession. A fourth person, who had received the stolen goods from them, was also nabbed. The trio were identified as Tapan Rout, Manoj Mall and Jagannath Paital of Mahakalapada. The receiver was Bishnu Prusty of the same area. Two gold necklaces, three mobile phones and a motorcycle were seized from their possession. ENS
