PARADIP: Writer Bijya Kumar Mohapatra died at Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre in Cuttack on Wednesday where he was undergoing treatment.
Fortytwo-year-old Mohapatra of Pakanpur village under Jagatsinghpur tehsil had entered the Limca Book of Records for publishing children’s magazine,
Suna Bhauni in over 102
languages. Editor, Limca Book of Records Vijay Ghose had awarded him for editing and publishing children’s magazine in most languages over past 20 years.
He was suffering from cancer of the rectum and is survived by his wife and two daughters.
