Children performing at the Foundation Day Function

BHUBANESWAR: True to the christening of the annual day, Pallavi 2012, students of DAV Pokhariput made an electrifying performance on Friday afternoon. It was a double deja vu  for the school which also celebrated its 21st foundation day.

 Dr D Ravindran, Director of Institute of Life Sciences and JB Garg, CBSE regional director were the honoured   guests of the function. Madan Mohan Panda, managing committee chairman, presided over the function.

 Speakers exhorted the students to dare to dream big and become good human beings. Dr Ravindran, a known scholar on biotechnology, appealed to the parents to come out of the ‘doctor-engineer’ mindset and let the children explore themselves so that the hidden talents come out. Students presented the cultural best of India with various dance performances from bihu to bhangra.
