BHUBANESWAR: The Utkal University Students’ Union has organised a week-long State-level inter-college talent hunt competition, Talent Ecstasy 2012 at the MKCG Auditorium of the university.

BHUBANESWAR: The Utkal University Students’ Union has organised a week-long State-level inter-college talent hunt competition, Talent Ecstasy 2012 at the MKCG Auditorium of the university.

 The inaugural day witnessed 80 students from various colleges of the State participating in the Odia debate and 78 students in the English debate.

The competition was open for Plus II and Plus III students.

The topic for the Odia debate was ‘Failure of mass media in representing public opinion’ and the English debate topic was ‘Indian Politics-Threat to democracy’.

 Abhinna Asutosh of University Law College won the Odia debate competition and Anuja Tarini Mishra of Utkal University in the English contest.

The winners were given a certificate, a trophy and cash prizes.
