SALEPUR: Police are still clueless on the Friday firing incident at Raisunguda market under Salepur police limits. The injured Jyaoti Samrat Praharaj (30) is undergoing treatment at SCB Medical at Cuttack.
Hospital sources said two bullets stuck in his pelvic bone will be removed on Sunday.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the injured was allegedly working for Tito gang and involved in many criminal cases. Salepur police station IIC Raj Kishore Swain said past rivalry is being suspected behind the incident. The police are waiting to record his statement which will help shed light on the incident.
