Body of design: Face Off, a new reality series will see prosthetic make-up artists compete against each other to meet certain design requirements under the watchful eyes of Academy Award-winning makeup artist, Ve Neill, television makeup artist Glenn Hetrick and production designer Patrick Tatopoulos. Premieres on March 16 at 5 pm.

The mystery continues: Picking up from where the third season ended, Castle sees Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) surviving a gun shot. She takes three months to recuperate before returning to the NYPD (New York Police Department) which now has a new Captain who doesn’t allow Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) to work with the team. Premiered on March 7 at 10 pm.

Big ticket: Hollywood actress Ashley Judd returns as a former CIA agent Becca Winstone who is searching for her missing son. Missing, which premiered on Indian television  before its global launch, boasts of a huge star cast including England’s versatile actor, Sean Bean and Cliff Curtis from The Piano. Premiered on March 11 at 9 pm.

Another kind of banking: The hit reality series Pawn Star introduces three generations of the Harrison family and their business, the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, in Las Vegas. The show depicts the camaraderie that Rick (a self-taught history buff) and the other men share, and their skills in assessing the value of the items their colourful customers bring in. Premiering on March 29 at 10 pm.

Swap the plate: The Diet that Time Forgot sees four food addicts swap their diets with an ancient tribe whose eating rituals date back thousands of years. Premiering on March 31.

Discovery Tamil

Ink art: Tattoo Hunter follows anthropologist Lars Krutak’s quest for some unusual stories and the meanings behind native tattoos. Watch him explore several unique customs, including tattooing styles,  design and scarification processes. Premiered on March 5 at 11 pm.

Mind games: Luther, a Golden Globe-winning psychological thriller, follows the cases of a troubled yet brilliant English detective, DCI John Luther (Idris Elba).The season starts with Alice Morgan (Ruth Wilson) committing a perfect murder of her parents and challenging Luther. She  also develops a strange fascination for him. Premiered on March 10 at 10 pm.
