BERHAMPUR: Students of Khallikote block had to write their examinations sitting on the floor on the first day of the matriculation examination at the Mardaraj High School in Khallikote town on Monday. The school has been assigned the examination centre for 273 students.  Officials said there weren’t enough tables and chairs to accommodate all the students. Over 50 examinees had to sit on the verandah to appear  the examination. The officials said construction of a new school building is yet to be completed which is why all students could not be accommodated in the classrooms.
