The accident took place at about 2 pm when the driver was  giving way to another vehicle. The bus crew fled.

Road Blockade

Five hundred women, belonging to 20 local SHGs, on Wednesday staged a road blockade at Chadheidhara chhak on Paradip-Daitary Express Highway for over five hours demanding closure of an IMFL shop at Chadheidhara area under Dharmasala police limits in Jajpur district.

They have been opposing sale of liquor in their areas for the past few months.

Vehicular traffic on the highway was paralysed following the blockade. Earlier, they went to the IMFL shop and destroyed it.
