Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools have announced plans for opening 30 pre-schools and senior schools in Odisha in the next five years.

The school chain, which has around 225 schools across the country, will be establishing about 22 pre-schools and eight senior schools named Shemrock Futuristic School in the State. It has already opened pre-schools in Bhubaneswar and Jajpur along with a senior school at Balangir. Schools would soon be opened in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Puri, Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Balasore and Berhampur, managing director Amol Arora told mediapersons here.

 Shemford special learning areas such as science laboratories, activity arcade, discovery centres, information and communication technology zones, studios for art and craft, library and sports arenas are the highlights of the schools that take learning beyond the classrooms, Arora said.
