International fashion designer Bibhu Mohapatra will work with the State Textiles and Handlooms Department for developing a model scheme for a weavers cluster. Secretary, Textiles and Handlooms, Usha Padhi met Mohapatra at Boyanika on Thursday where they held talks on working for the development and promotion of Odisha handlooms.
Mohapatra advised that a model scheme could be worked out in a cluster and Padhi evinced interest in devising one. He lauded the exquisite works of Odisha weavers and said the work could be put on international map.
