3 hurt after gas leak

Three employees including a senior engineer of Bhusan Power and Steel Limited (BPSL) sustained serious burn injuries following a gas leak in the plant on Friday afternoon. They have been identified as senior engineer Sanjib Kumar (32) of Jharkhand, a welder, Prakash Sethi (35) of Berhampur and Grinder Mahender Paswan (35) of Uttar Pradesh.

The injured have been shifted to Burn Unit at Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela, where their condition is stated to be critical.
